Our research group conducts research in the fields of paediatric nursing and care, and reproductive and sexual health. More specifically, our research focuses on children with long-term medical conditions and their families, for example cancer, cerebral palsy, diabetes, premature birth, HIV and colic. The research focuses on three areas: • Promote health in early childhood by supporting parents and children • Hospital-based home care for children with chronic illness • Knowledge about the implementation processes of child-centered care Multi-disciplinary perspective The research group has a multi-disciplinary perspective and the research involves paediatric nurses, midwives, physiotherapists, doctors, health economists, psychiatric nurses and radiotherapists. Ethnologists and technologists are also linked to the research group.
