The research team address current issues relevant to the community, the workplace and health and well-being. For example, the research team studies aspects of people's outdoor and indoor environment from an environmental medicine perspective, a sustainable working life, the fit between job requirements and the ability of the individual, physiological, psychological and social aspects of the work environment, commuting, and the interaction between the work life and everyday life. The group's interdisciplinary composition makes it possible to identify and analyze risk- and health-factors in these areas from different perspectives. The aim of the research is to develop practical methods and approaches. Among other things researchers in the group have developed instruments for early detection of exhaustion disorder and for identifying the risk of imbalance between work life and everyday life.
