Centre for Oresund Region Studies was founded in 1998 and is a network organization with the objective to create meetings between researchers interested in the Oresund region, relations between Denmark and Sweden, Danish culture, history and the Danish society.The networking activities comes in several forms, for example:• Seminars and workshops• Danish-Swedish conferences on current topics• Book publications• Journal publication• Research projects

Research

The Centre for Oresund Region Studies works to initiate, strengthen and coordinate multidisciplinary research of the Oresund region from regional, national and international perspectives. The research projects can focus more broadly on border studies, on the Oresund region or have a comparative perspective on Swedish and Danish culture, history and society.
