The task of Facilities Planning is strategic facilities planning i.e. analysis of facility requirements and planning of facilities. This means that we represent the University’s collective expertise in strategic facility provision and manage changing facility requirements through analysis, cost calculation and impact assessment. Facility planners coordinate the University’s construction projects. An important part of the task is quality assurance and to be the University’s requirement specifier in its orders relating to facility adaptations and construction projects at landlords’ sites. The task entails supporting the organisation in the work of drawing up documentation prior to project planning. Facilities Planning also compiles the University’s facilities plan, campus plan and other strategic documents.
