The research group Transport & Roads is a part of the Department of Technology and Society at LTH, Lund University. The research conducted within Transport & Roads focuses on the road user, transport modes and infrastructure - from planning to maintenance. Factors that affect society?s need for transportation are studied as well as how infrastructure should be adapted to road users?, citizens? and societal demand on accessibility, safety, environment, and economics. Research on highway engineering also focuses on characteristics of materials used in road construction.
