My research interests are mainly focused on European Economic History. In Historical Economic Geography, I focus on the divide among Italian regions before WWI and the long term patterns of regional inequality in pre-industrial Sweden. On wealth inequality I have worked on pre-industrial Sweden and Finland.
I have a multidisciplinary experience in teaching both at undergraduate and master level. I have taught Economics B (principles of micro-- and macroeconomics) at undergraduate level in the Economics Department at the LSE; Internationalization of Economic Growth at undergraduate level at the Economic History Department at the LSE; Advanced Time Series Analysis at master level at the Department of Economic History at Lund University; and Business and Society at undergraduate level at the Department of Economic History at Lund University. I also hold the first LATHE (Learning and Teaching in Higher Education) certificate.
I am in the editorial board of the NEP-HIS blog https://nephist.wordpress.com/.
