Research

My research springs from two different themes. The first deals with cooperation and collaboration between organisations in the public and the voluntary sectors respectively. The second theme puts the professional role of the accountant/controller - the "ekonom" - in focus.

4. Briefly describe development work in education – renewal of curriculum and/or pedagogical development:

Development of self-correcting methods for optional assignments as well as for examination and grading routines used in two FEKA90 courses (for further information, see nr 8 below). The purpose is twofold; to enhance students’ learning and to redistribute teaching time from grading to contact with students.

Responsible for a facultyfinanced project assigned to test a digital examination tool (Inspera).

Investigating the experiences of colleagues at LU and other universities and highschools.

Tryouts with student representatives during the spring term.

Four “sharp” tests launched within the introductory course, FEKA90, during the autumn term, counting 370 students.

Presentations of the tool - pros and cons – to colleagues, as well as hands-on tuition.

 

Major accounting case assignment using a digital bookkeeping program within the introductory course, FEKA90.

 

Major budget case assignment using a spreadsheet program (MS Excel) within the introductory course, FEKA90, as well as International Business: Management Control Systems (IBUA62).

 

 

9. Production of cases, publications on teaching and learning, teaching materials and textbooks

Production of a new case on costing and budgeting, “Merry Market”, for the benefit of the International Business: Management Control Systems (IBUA62).

Production of new teaching material for the same course.
