My research interests include organizational control, particularly in knowledge-intensive contexts, materiality in organizations, practice theory, gender and sexuality in organizations, branding, qualitative methods, and educational politics.
My main area of teaching is organization theory, with particular emphasis on organizational control, human resource management, diversity management, organizational culture and qualitative methods. I am the course coordinator of a master's course in Strategic Human Resource Management, a PhD-course called "Theory course in business adminstration," and a PhD-course named "Qualitative Data Analysis and Theorization."
My research has been published in variuos academic outlets, such as Human Relations, Organization studies and Scandinavian Journal of Management. I am also reaching out to a more general audience through teaching. I have taught management for police officers on the national leadership program of the Swedish police. I have also been involved in management education for the Danish police, taught on a managment program for Swedish public servants, on variuos executive education programs, as well as on a business program for newly arrived academic immigrants.
