My research interests are in the field of European Union’s constitutional law and issues concerning the internal market and competition policy, in particular state monopolies, public procurement and state aid law.
I teach mainly in EU Law and Competition Law and is responsible for the course ”EU:s marknads- och konkurrensrätt” (EU Market and Competition Law) at the Department of Business Law, and the course "EU law” at the same Departement as well as within the Master Programme European Affairs (Department of Political Science).
Due to my research, I have been appointed by the Swedish goverment to chair several governmental inquiries regarding the relationship between EU law and Swedish law: Inre marknadsutredningen (UD 2008:1 -SOU 2009:71), Filiallagsutredningen (N 2009:16 - SOU 2010:46) and E-handel och hemleverans av alkoholdrycker till konsumenter (S 2014:1 - SOU 2014:58). I have also been asked to write research reports within investigations conducted by the Swedish National Audit Office: Statens roll på den svenska spelmarknaden (2012), Staten på telekommarknaden (2013) och Offentligt stöd på svaga bostadsmarknader (2014). Finally, I have written two research reports on behalf of the Swedish Parliament: Subsidiaritetsprincipen efter Lissabon, published by the Parliament in March 2014 (2013/14:RFR10) and Konstitutionella förutsättningar för riksdagens deltagande i EU-samarbetet (March 2017).
