My main research area is health economics. My research focuses on i) incentives in publicly financed health care, ii) determinants of patients' choices of health care provider, iii) effects of competition in primary care.
I currently lecture on a course called Introduction to public economics, which is part of the master programme in Welfare Policy and Management at the Political Science Department.
Results from ongoingand previous projects have been disseminated to interested policy makers in popular articles (Ekonomisk debatt, Kommunalekonomen) and reports (KEFU), and been presented policy seminars (Region Skåne, Folkhälsomyndigheten, KEFU, Kommekdagarna).
I currently participate in a project connected to a governmental committtee, Tillitsdelegationen, seeking to find novel ways of managing the public sector. This will lead to one popular anthology chapter and a research paper.
I am a member of a reference group for a project run by The Swedish Agency for Health and Care Services Analysis (Vårdanalys).
