Matteo Fuoli is a doctoral candidate in English Language and Linguistics at the Centre for Languages and Literature, Lund University, and has recently been appointed Lecturer in Corpus-based Discourse Analysis in the English and Applied Linguistics Department at the University of Birmingham (UK). He is primarily interested in exploring how business organizations use discourse to negotiate public trust and social legitimacy. His research interests also include evaluation, corpus methodology, and multimodal metaphor.
