Dr Melinda Rezeli joined the Clinical Protein Science & Imaging group in 2008. Her main research interest focuses on mass spectrometry based protein quantitation, including multiplex assay development and biomarker discovery. She is involved in proteomics studies linked to different disease areas, i.e. cardiovascular diseases, neurodegenerative disorders and cancer.

Melinda got her Ph.D. degree in chemistry at the University of Pécs in 2008, with the thesis on the development of acrylamide-based separation matrices. In 2007 she joined a biotech company in Hungary as a researcher and took part in the development of immune-based multiplex assays in the field of life sciences and healthcare.
