Research

The research I have conducted concerns vibrations in a built environment. The research mainly includes evaluation and development of numerical models for studying vibration-reduction measures, as well as improving numerical efficiency of models. The research has been applied to a vibration-sensitive research facility (The MAX IV Laboratory), exposed to motorway traffic and vibrations stemming from water-pipe systems and pedestrians. Experience from experimental work include ground vibrations measurements and evaluation of those. I have also being involved in development of the structural design of wind-turbine blades.
