Research

Susanne’s research interests are within corporate finance and accounting and include the following areas that have different degrees of overlap;

(i)            sustainability accounting, reporting and assurance

(ii)          integrated reporting

(iii)         efficiency of the information flow between companies, financial analysts and investors

(iv)         corporate communication process,

(v)          corporate valuation,

(vi)         accounting communication and  financial statement analysis,

(vii)        intangible assets

For her research Susanne has been awarded a Wallander scholarship, been nominated for the Globe Awards’ Sustainable Research Award and been awarded several external research funding. 

Teaching

The main focus of Susanne’s teaching includes:

(i)            corporate finance,

(ii)           corporate social responsibility (CSR) and business ethics,

(iii)          sustainability reporting and assurance,

(iv)          behavioral finance,

(v)           corporate financial accounting and

(vi)          methodology

Her teaching experience ranges from teaching on basic and advanced level to postgraduate studies, as well as, being thesis supervisor. Susanne has a solid experience from executive education and teach fluently in both Swedish an in English. In 2007, she was awarded Lundaekonomernas Pedagogiska Pris (The Pedagogical Price of The Student Union for Economics and Business Students at Lund University) and in 2008 she was awarded Lunds Studentskårs Pedagogiska Pris (The Pedagogical Price of the Student Union at Lund University).

I am developing IBUG81 for launch 2019. It is so rewarding to develop a course from scratch with everything from content, examination, guest lectures, pedagogical techniques, cases and so on…;-)

head of project) där ett av syftena är att: ”increase the knowledge of LUSEM’s Faculty on different perspectives on sustainability relevant for inclusion in LUSEM’s courses and programs. This will hopefully strengthen LUSEM’s profile as a business school where sustainability perspectives are integrated.”

8. Briefly describe yourwork with IT-supportedteaching and learning

Live@Lund är sedan flera år fullt ut integrerat i min undervisning. Det underlättar för mig att ha en kontinuerlig kommunikation med mina studenter under kursernas gång. Live@Lund är mycket lättanvänt och jag använder det till att bl.a. ladda upp välkomstbrev, anteckningar, introduktionsfilmer, länkar, studiematerial, tips etc.

 

Andra former av IT-stöd som jag frekvent använder mig av i min undervisning är ’flipped classroom’ som jag utvecklat med bla programmetKaltura.

 

I have been making video presentations (in Swedish and English) for LU manamagent team on The economic dimension ofSustainability” This will beused in education both forfaculty and students.
