Research

Since January 2016 I work within two Vinnova funded projects. In the project "Strategic planning of cycling infrastructure" I am the project manager. The project is a collaboration between Lund University, Malmö University and VTI and it is analyzed how Sweden can improve its strategic infrastructure for cycling. Case studies will be carried out in Denmark, Germany and the Netherlands. The project will run until December 2018. The second project "Institutional frameworks for integrated mobility services in future cities" deals with the question how institutional frameworks can hinder or support the development of mobility services for sustainable travel. I lead the activity "Knowledge overview and international outlook", where case studies will be carried out, among others, in Hamburg, Germany. The project will run December 2017. Both projects are linked to Sweden's national centre for research and education on public transport, K2. Within K2 I also work on a project that deals with the planning of new train stations with case studies in Malmö, Stockholm and Gothenburg.
