I am working on the dynamics of stars in stellar clusters where the stellar clusters undergo interactions with objects such as the galactic bar, spiral arms, and giant molecular clouds (GMCs). This is done in order to investigate the orbits of stars which are ejected from stellar clusters in dynamical encounters, and in particular whether they are consistent with the Galactic orbit of the Sun. I am currently investigating the possibility that the Sun was born and then later ejected from the open cluster M67.

My work is a combination of theoretical work using N-body simulations and observations from Gaia and large-scale spectroscopic surveys.
