Research

My research is focused on turbulent reacting flows with application in various industrial processes, for example, internal combustion engines, furnaces, and gas turbine engines. Examples of my current research interest are,

  • Partially premixed combustion in low temperature combustion engines
  • Methanol combustion in internal combustion engines
  • Mathematical modeling of biomass gasification and combustion
  • Structure and propagation of turbulent premixed and partially premixed flames
  • Structure and extinction of non-premixed flames
