Description
The research node ”Digital Cultures” provides cultural perspectives on the on-going digitisation of society. It brings together a wide variety of humanities disciplines to study different aspects of ”the digital”. The node unites research projects, programmes and initiatives based on different methodologies and with different perspectives on both contemporary and historic phenomena. Several on-going projects tied to the node involve different disciplines, different institutions and outside researchers.
The node makes visible Digital Cultures and related research at the Department of Arts and Cultural Sciences. It acts as a catalyst to enable new constellations and co-operations and provides a forum for interaction in the form of discussion meetings, seminars, and workshops
