I am a Senior Lecturer (universitetslektor) at Lund Observatory at Lund University in Sweden. Here I work on topics such as planet formation, accretion discs, turbulence, and supercomputing.

I finished my PhD in 2007 at Max Planck Institute for Astronomy in Heidelberg. After that I spent a bit more than two years as a postdoc at Leiden Observatory.

I obtained my docent degree from Lund University in 2013.

My research focuses on theoretical and computational models of planet formation. I study a wide range of growth stages in the formation of planets: the growth of dust grains to pebbles, the formation of planetesimals, the rapid planetary accretion by pebble accretion, and the final assembly of planetary systems. This work is relevant for understanding the planets of the Solar System as well as the vast amount of exoplanets that have been discovered around other stars.
