Description

While international media was astounded by the “Swedish strategy”, people in Sweden and Denmark were negotiating their own experiences of living in the Covid-19 crisis. In this episode, Raquel García-Plaza, a physician and a PhD in Medical anthropology from Universidad de Salamanca, discuss her research with Rachel Irwin, a medical anthropologist and docent in Ethnology at Lund University, whose research concerns Nordic, European and global cooperation in vaccine diplomacy. Which nuances were lost in communicating about Covid-19? Which were the common experiences, and which differed wildly? Listen to their discussion about how Covid-19 strategies impacted people in Sweden, Denmark, and beyond.
