Description
We will provide an overview of the scope, methods, and topics to be investigated by participants in the At the End of the World research program, the largest project ever funded at Lund’s Joint Faculties of the Humanities and Theology. The primary objective of the programme is to interrogate the connection points between the biblical genre of apocalypticism and apocalyptic ideologies and motifs in literature, theology, philosophy, and media throughout history (and up to the present day).Jayne Svenungsson is Professor of Systematic Theology at the Centre for Theology and Religious Studies. Aaron Goldman is a researcher in Philosophy of Religion at the Centre for Theology and Religious Studies. Marie Cronqvist is Associate Professor of History at the Department of Communication and Media. Johannes Stripple is Associate Professor of Political Science at the Department of Political Science.
