During these times of physical distancing, Urban Creativity Lund invite you to an online binge-watching of Arte's series "The Rise of Graffiti Writing - From New York To Europe", season 1-3.
We will watch all three seasons together with the creators of the series, René Kæstner and Lars Pedersen. They will introduce the project, briefly discuss each season, and finally participate in an online discussion on the chronicling of the history of European Stylewriting.
The three seasons tells the story of Graffiti from its beginnings in 1970s New York to its arrival in Europe in the 1980s. Developing in the creative cauldron of the Bronx before crossing the Atlantic, beginning with metropolitan areas around cities lika Amsterdam, Paris, London and Copenhagen before taking over the entire continent.
The screening will take place on the teleconferencing platform Zoom. The event will open 30 minutes before the screening. Zoom is limited to 500 participants and we apply a first come first serve policy.
