Many cities and regions are currently conducting pilots of autonomous vehicles (AVs). While the activities have increased, the developments and
visions surrounding AVs remain controversial, and the potential role of AVs in broader urban development is a subject of debate. In this seminar, we use two AV pilots (BASE and Barkaby) as a starting point to discuss innovations
within the framework of visions and systemic change.
