Description

This one-day symposium provides an overview of a topic of high current interest in functional biodiversity research: what are the consequences of changes in biodiversity for multiple ecosystem functions and services? In addition to giving a general overview, the meeting will specifically address to what extent we can expect the importance of biodiversity to increase with the number of functions (services) considered.

The workshop will be a three-day meeting, separated into a 1-day mini-symposium followed by a 2 day hackaton focused on the importance of number of functions for the biodiversity -multifunctionality relationship.

This workshop was funded by BECC.
