The presentation will be about a currently underexplored area within BECC, which is to link LPJ-GUESS simulations of forest structure to animal biodiversity, using empirical relationships. There are studies which present quantitative links between forest structure and the presence and abundance of different animal species. This talk is to advertise LPJ-GUESS capabilities to potential BECC collaborators which may already have done work on this for Swedish or other forest ecosystems, and hopefully someone listening during this meeting will make a great new collaborator or can provide feedback on our ideas at this stage.
