Description

Global Security and Intelligence Studies is a forum in which the academic community, practitioners, leaders, and policymakers can engage in meaningful and developmental dialogue about contemporary global security and intelligence issues. The Journal encourages contributions covering a broad range of intelligence and security issues, and from across the methodological and theoretical spectrum. The Journal strives to advance the recognition of the multidisciplinary nature of intelligence and security studies and draw on insights from a variety of fields to advance understanding of important current intelligence and security issues. In particular, the Editorial team strives to curate manuscripts that explicitly demonstrate how a multidisciplinary approach enhances theoretical and practical understanding of intelligence and security matters, advance or detail pedagogical processes or techniques for instructing intelligence and security professionals at the graduate level and beyond, and present timely analysis of current world events. In keeping with the desire to help bridge the gap between academics and practitioners, the journal also invites narratives from practitioners highlighting their perspectives in any of the aforementioned arenas, regardless of academic background.
