Description
The aim of this event was to discuss the results of the recent IPCC report and its implications for research and society in the light of this summers’ extreme weather events. Meet and listen to the perspectives from researchers working in a variety of disciplines and subjects, and join the discussions on which changes are needed in different sectors (such as forestry, agriculture, urban planning and policy-making) and in research in order to reach the climate targets.This event was co-organized by the national Strategic Research Areas BECC and MERGE, together with the Thematic Collaboration Initiative LU Land. More than 250 person participated coming from academia, societal actors and interested.
