IACS 3-2018 (International Association for Cognitive Semiotics)The IACS conference series seeks to gather together scholars and scientists in semiotics, cognitive science, linguistics, anthropology, philosophy, psychology and related fields, who wish to share their research on meaning and contribute to the interdisciplinary dialogue.
The talk focused on the questions of (1) how street artworks can be interpreted in the light of metaphorical conceptualizations, and (2) how these are related to the semiotic systems of language and pictures by taking into account their quite frequent interaction.
