Invited Expert - Training seminar for Cypriot Judges in EU Competition Law

Part of EU-wide project “Training for National Judges in EU Competition Law”, addressed to judges of Member States enforcing EU competition and state aid law, implemented by the Academy of European Law (ERA) in Trier, Germany on behalf of DG COMP of the European Commission and in collaboration with other international experts (academics, judges, law practitioners).
Designed, prepared and delivered a live Training Seminar on “Article 101 TFEU: Agreements, decisions and concerted practices”, covering the main elements of art. 101 TFEU, horizontal and vertical agreements, and related exemptions, at the Judicial Training School of Cyprus in Nicosia; and also prepared and provided a video recorded Presentation on “Using the search tools of the online databases” of the European Commission and Courts in order to provide useful practical guidance to the trained judges on how to use the search tools of the websites of the CJEU (CURIA), DG Comp, EUR-Lex to search for cases.
