This summer school was organised by the University of Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne (Laboratoire de Médiévistique occidentale de Paris), École nationale des chartes (PSL University), Institut de Recherche et d'Histoire des Textes (IRHT-CNRS), and by Laboratoire Dynamique patrimoniales et culturelles (Paris-Saclay University).
It offered training in the study of medieval books, both manuscript and printed, through the use of statistical and computer methods, in the form of practical workshops (OpenRefine, Heurist, Gephi, R, RStudio, IIIF protocol, Transkribus...).
