Webinar for PhD student and other researchers at Chalmers, Sahlgrenska Academy at University of Gothenburg and Sahlgrenska University Hospital working with health and engineering.A number of important ethical, legal and social issues have to be considered when working with personal data in research. Who, if anyone, owns the data? What is data protection? What is personal data? What are the major legal obligations regarding data? Do patients have rights regarding their data? Is it enough to follow the law? What type of ethical and social aspects should be taken into consideration? During this seminar Ana Norberg will provide a basic introduction to legal issues and broader ethical and social discussions regarding AI and data.
