LTH Aerosols seminar: EU Ambient Air Quality Directive

Air pollution and air quality is one of the main global challenges in our society today. Researchers worldwide study climate and health effects of air pollution. In this seminar we will hear more about how research can have a real impact on legislation.

Will we have a better EU law on air pollution? Ass. Prof. Ebba Malmqvist will give a brief overview of what is going on with the revision of EU ambient air quality directive and we will discuss some important topics in the proposal. She will also briefly talk about ways of being engaged in the process and the research gaps.

Ass. Prof. Ebba Malmqvist works with the science to policy NGO Air pollution and climate secretariat AirClim on international air pollution policy and is also a member of the Policy committee for International Society of Environmental Epidemiology.
