Associate Professor Stefan Larsson presented ongoing work in in research group on AI and Society. They are approaching questions of how people perceive their relationship to AI systems and what emerging legislation and ethical guidelines focus on. By studying similar issues in different fields - consumers' perspectives on digital data collection, breast radiologists' encounter with computer vision in mammography, and how public administration seeks to utilise AI in its welfare mission - Stefan Larsson points out some of the key challenges for how AI is applied in society.
