Description

COTEC is a private non-profit foundation in which the skills, experiences and interests of institutions, companies and the research system thrive around the theme of innovation. For the realization of its aims it carries out coordination actions between the state and local institutions, companies and research institutes. It promotes studies and research in various fields of innovation to support the formulation of new policies to promote Italian technological and scientific competitiveness.

The COTEC Foundation also promotes debates and understandings on topics of technological innovation between institutes, associations, universities, scientific bodies, foundations, research and training centers operating in Italy and abroad. Together with the Fundación COTEC of Spain and the Associação COTEC of Portugal, it is committed to representing the interests of the Mediterranean countries related to policies and actions in support of innovation to the European Union.
