MonteCarlo simulations for the Light Dark Matter eXperiment and beyond

Activity: Examination and supervisionSupervision of PhD students

Description

The core of this thesis is the development of Monte Carlo simulation for the Light Dark Matter eXperiment (LDMX), a search for light dark matter using electron beams at the Stanford Linear Accelerator (SLAC). This involves both development of the Geant4-based detector simulation of the experiment as well as improving the underlying simulation software, with the unique features of LDMX as a use-case.
