In his presentation "Past Achievements and Future Promises in Last Mile Logistics Research", John Olsson discussed the results of a systematic literature review of Last Mile Logistics. In addition, ongoing empirical studies were discussed exploring new practices within Last Mile Logistics. What expectations do consumers have on unattended home delivery services, and how do expectations affect the actual experience? A study together with NoWaste Logistics where their E-Drop Service was tested in ten households in the city of Helsingborg.
