Lina Herbertsson, researcher at the Department of Biology, was interviewed concerning the controversial substance glyphosate, more specifically that the herbicide has been approved for a further ten years in the EU. Herbertsson says that there is no reliable evidence that glyphosate harms bees, but warned about the indirect effects that may arise when the insects are deprived of their food.
