Description
In 2021, the SCSC is organizing a series of webinars with scholars from around the world. The themes of the webinars are centered around the topic of the polarities of crisis in the global world, where crisis is simultaneously understood as an area of contestation and control. What are crises? How can we conceptualize them? Why, and how should we study them with a critical lens? How is crisis experienced but also embedded in political strategies and discourses? With questions such as these, we commence a fortnightly webinar series which opens up debate and critically explores the nature of crises. The aim of the series is to promote the development of critical scholarship of crises and to establish a network of scholars interested in pursuing research and policy analysis of ‘crisis studies’.Period | 2021 Feb → … |
