SRA workshop series: Equality, diversity, and inclusion in research environments

Activity: Participating in or organising an eventOrganisation of workshop/ seminar/ course

Description

The aim of this workshop was to provide attendees with information on how equality and inclusion are addressed at Lund University at different levels. In addition, the workshop discussed strategies to work with equality within collaborations, research environments, and the workplace, generally. This reflects several of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) – Goal #5 Gender Equality and Goal #10 Reduced Inequalities – as well as the principles of Lund University (Lund University: Strategic Plan 2017–2026, p. 4). The workshop further offered an important opportunity to share experiences and express viewpoints through meaningful dialogue. Lund University Pro Vice-Chancellor for Communication, Integrity, and Character Jimmie Kristensson presented at the workshop, together with Tomas Brage and Melina Bergström. A summary of the discussion was shared with the SRA Collegium, including all SRA Directors at Lund University.
