Session: Understanding the Basic Science
This session will cover basic natural science climate change questions, centered around the question of quantifying climate sensitivity. Addressing basic physical processes governing climate change, such as radiation budget, feedbacks, heat transports, carbon cycle, climate sensitivity, etc. Observations, paleo and model-based approaches are welcome, as well as overview presentations.
