Description
Which climate solutions are preferred by youth and which frames and narratives are used by them to justify their choice? This paper attempts to answer this question.The analysis is based on semi-structured interviews with COP27 and COP28 participants during the conferences. The interviewees were asked their views on the solutions for climate change and they answered in a free format without restrictions or examples. The results were analyzed by using the discourse network analysis method to detect discursive communities among youth and examine whether those communities are created in relation to their affiliation, region and gender. This paper will shed light on how different solutions to climate change are valued by youth, especially those who are most active in international climate politics.| Period | 2024 May 15 |
