    Description

    StemTherapy promotes the creation of an intellectually challenging and technically advanced environment for
    top international level basic and translational/clinical research and education in the field of stem cell research and regenerative medicine.
    The mission of the StemTherapy environment is to support the translation of basic stem cell research into novel therapies and cures under the highest
    ethical, scientific and medical standards, in order to relieve human suffering from chronic disease and injury.
    StemTherapy supports over 44 research groups in terms of enhancing research outcomes by providing state-of-the-art technology platforms, stimulating highly interactive and creative activities and distributing a variety of grants in order to fund the career paths of our researchers.

    The StemTherapy environment also includes connections with Uppsala University (UU). The relation with four principal investigators at UU is in terms of scientific exchange, sharing the StemTherapy funding (80:20) and also several collaborations have resulted in publications.
