    Infrastructure Details

    Description

Separate building adjacent to the A-building (LTH). The building contains four different measurement rooms for thermal energy and daylight quality in buildings. Two rooms are used for daylight measurements and two rooms are used for thermal measurements. Measurements of various facade materials, sun protection and glazing can be done. At the roof of the laboratory there are equipment for measuring solar collectors and solar cells.

    Equipment and resources

2+2 rooms with special feature. All of the rooms are thermally insulated. In each of the rooms 3 of the walls, the roof and the floor is surrounded by indoor air. This means that only one of the walls faces the ambient conditions. 2 of the rooms are made for thermal measurements where cooling and heating can be set. 2 of the rooms is built in such way that they are also suitable to studies including test persons. These rooms are mainly used for daylight studies. Necessary equipment for thermal measurements etc. are available.

    Services provided

Guidance in planning of experiments, set ups and calibration.

    Management of the infrastructure
