Infrastructure

    Infrastructure Details

    Description

Ultrasound imaging of the heart in small animals requires high-frequency technology. Coupling such information to molecular imaging may be obtained through use of photoacoustics. The instrument acquired to the BMC to obtain such imaging is the Vevo LAZR-X (FUJIFILM VisualSonics, Toronto, Canada).

    Equipment and resources

Vevo LAZR-X multi-modal imaging platform (FUJIFILM VisualSonics, Toronto, Canada).

    Services provided

    Use of instrument.

    Management of the infrastructure

The infrastructure is overseen by a board, consisting of parties interested in the technology that were involved in its acquisition.
