High-frequency ultrasound and photoacoustic imaging for preclinical small-animal cardiovascular models

  • Mardjaneh Karbalaei Sadegh (Manager) &
  • Gustav Smith (Manager)

    Infrastructure Details

Ultrasound imaging of the heart in small animals requires high-frequency technology. Coupling such information to molecular imaging may be obtained through use of photoacoustics. The instrument acquired to the BMC to obtain such imaging is the Vevo LAZR-X (FUJIFILM VisualSonics, Toronto, Canada).

    Equipment and resources

Vevo LAZR-X multi-modal imaging platform (FUJIFILM VisualSonics, Toronto, Canada).

    Services provided
