    Description

    The laboratory is specialized in immunohistochemistry and tissue micro arrays.
    The facility follows the same standards as the ones used for clinical immunohistochemistry staining. This implies extra care of the preanalytical steps, which results in a highly specific and reproduceable antibody staining.

    The infrastructure is funded by the income generated by the facility. The facility is partially supported by a private fund.

    Equipment and resources

    Autostainer from DAKO. Automated staining system.
    Scanner from Aperio. Scanning slides after staining.
    Microtome for sectioning.

    Services provided

    Full service immunohistochemistry lab. Dehydration, embedding, sectioning, staining and scanning. Assembly of TMA blocks.
    Single and double staining with antibodies.

    Management of the infrastructure

    TMA-center is driven by six research groups.
