    Description

    Lund Stem Cell Center FACS Core Facility is a state-of-the-art multi-colour flow cytometry facility included in the strategic research area Stem Therapy. The FACS Core Facility is located at BMC B12 and serves all researchers at Lund University and others.

    Equipment and resources

    At the facility we currently have four cell sorters:
    BD FACS Aria IIu SORP
    BD FACS Aria III
    BD FACS Melody
    BD FACSymphony S6

    and three analysers:
    BD LSR II
    BD LSR Fortessa
    BD LSR Fortessa X20


    Services provided

    We offer the following services:
    •Cell Sorting
    •FACS Analysis
    •FACS training-courses, individual one-to-one training
    •Advice and supervision of users for experiments and data analysis
    •Participating in developing new protocols and techniques
    •Assistance with FlowJo Analysis

    We also run courses in flow cytometry on a regular basis:
    Flow Cytometry Introductory Course (MEFLIN1, 1 credit; third cycle)
    Flow Cytometry Continuation Course (MEFLFO1, 1.5 credits; third cycle)
    Flow Cytometry Sorting Course (MEFLCS1, 1.5 credits; third cycle)
