Digital and physical collections
LU Press maintains a website; http://lunduniversitypress.lu.se. Important documents are registered (diarieförda) at the HT Faculty Office. LU Press stores a limited number of its books on its Blix premises, where the LU Press administrative archives will also be kept from 1 March 2019.
Services provided
In addition to its everyday operations, LU Press offers advice on book-publishing matters and arranges symposia/workshops on such matters.
Management of the infrastructure
Lund University Press already functions as a unit of infrastructure, with its own cost centre (kostnadsställe) as well as a financial secretary and a marketing specialist, on 10 % each. Day-to-day operations are managed by the Publishing Director, Marianne Thormählen, Senior Professor, on 35 %. All important decisions, such as decisions to accept or reject a submitted MS, are made by an eight-person Editorial Committee on which representatives of the various HT Departments serve.
