Meteorological and environmental measurement stations in Sudan: Demokeya and Senegal: Dahra

Infrastructure

    Infrastructure Details

Name of national/international infrastructure this infrastructure belongs to

Supplying data to FLUXNET (http://fluxnet.fluxdata.org/) and to International soil moisture network (https://ismn.geo.tuwien.ac.at/).

    Description

Meteorological and environmental measurement with focus on climate, carbon fluxes and remote sensing. Frequent cooperation with research groups in several countries. We have local personnel on the ground at both sites that can support additional measurements etc.

Meteorological and environmental measurement stations in
    Sudan: Demokeya
    Senegal: Dahra
Both in semiarid and hot environments.

    Equipment and resources

Meteorological, soil, spectral and eddy covariance sensors.
