    Description

    Stensoffa field station is situated 17 km east of Lund in the military training area Revingehed. The station is used as base station for biological field work in the nearby surroundings and for smaller indoor laboratory work or outdoor experiments at the station itself. The station is primarily used by researchers from the Department of Biology, but also by visiting researchers from other Swedish universities and from universities abroad. Outside of the field season (April to Sept), Stensoffa can be used for teaching, workshops, and meetings.

    Equipment and resources

    The following facilities are available to both local and visiting scientists:
    -Two aviaries for songbirds
    -Owl aviary
    -Greenhouse
    -Seminar room for teaching and workshops (max. 20 pers.)
    -Indoor laboratory space

    The station has two kitchens for self-catering and beds for up to 10 persons, primarily for researchers and students carrying out research at or in the surroundings of the station.

    Overnight stay* 120 SEK
    Long-term stay (per month)* 2 400 SEK
    Use of conference room per 24-h period 800 SEK
    Use of general space (laboratory space) per week 800 SEK

    External users:
    Overnight stay* 220 SEK
    Long-term stay (per month)* 4 400 SEK
    Use of conference room per 24-h period** 1 200 SEK
    Use of general space (laboratory space) per week** 1 200 SEK

    * No moms (tax)
    ** External users will be charged 25% moms/tax on top of the given price
