SeBMS
The infrastructure is a PostgreSQL database storing and providing access to data from the Swedish Butterfly Monitoring Scheme. The scheme covers 435 sites per year and runs from April 1st to September 30th. Sites are visited 3-7 times per season and are surveyed using a standardized methodology. The database is in active development and is accessible from the Drupal 7 website dagfjarilar.lu.se. It is mirrored on GBIF (Global Biodiversity Information Facility) and accessible at https://www.gbif.org/dataset/be77e203-486c-4651-91b9-8347968b728c Data is currently being used for national and international monitoring analyses, including the EU Grassland Butterfly Indicator (see https://www.eea.europa.eu/data-and-maps/daviz/european-grassland-butterfly-indicator-4#tab-chart_6)
Data is synced to the European butterfly monitoring database eBMS.
